Northern Ireland Library Authority (NILA) is the first department born out of the Good Friday Agreement, established by the Department for Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL). LibrariesNI was chosen as the name for the brand and our brief was to re-invigorate the general public’s perception of their local library. By providing many more services and resources than simply books, libraries across Northern Ireland are steadily being converted to ‘communication hub centres’ for all the community. So far we have designed all the material required for the launch held and we’re in the process of helping NILA change how you, and everyone else, view your local library. |
